“We were just a couple of dads really who wanted to create a fun way for our children to pick up a bit of Spanish before we went on holiday,” explained Stephen Foster. “I was amazed how quickly my son Oliver, who was then 12, picked up the language, using my initial ‘board’ drawn onto an A4 sheet of paper with a handful of questions. I then asked John Ainsley to help develop the concept.”
“All our families helped to get the game to its global launch this weekend and my brother Robert produced the web site,” said John Ainsley. “When we did look for ‘outside’ help we wanted to work with somebody local so I turned to an old school mate, Graham Jenkinson, who run’s Hull based creative design agency, Jenko. They have a great reputation for quality work with major international brands. Their help in developing the final game artwork over the last 18 months
has been invaluable.
Stephen Foster adds: “We're delighted we chose Jenko, not just for their design flair and practical expertise that they brought to the game, but also their patience through all our
last-minute tweaking and fine-tuning. We must have spent thousands of hours getting to where we are today. Over the last eight years there have been highs and lows, and a few blind alleys, but we’re both very proud of what we have eventually created and are very confident this will
be a success.”
