Each short listed finalist will be invited to the awards night along with a guest, where the winners will be announced and presented with their award and prize. The judges will also have to decide the overall winner of the prestigious Hull Teacher of the Year Award.
When asked why Jenko sponsor these awards he said “education in this area often receives very bad publicity. I am aware that this publicity does not reflect the true picture. Through the work I do with Young Enterprise and with school visits I know that there is much good work being done within education in Hull. The Teacher of the Year Awards is a great opportunity to champion and celebrate some of that fantastic work.” The ceremony will take place on Friday 12th September at the Guildhall, in Hull hosted by star of television and radio, impressionist Jon Culshaw and is guaranteed to be a night to remember!
